ok you utah boys,when i was a wee little boy many moons ago(60"s) i used to play in butterfield canyon next to the bingham mine.midway up the canyon rt.side there is some mine shafts, a couple had mine carts lying around,shovels,picks,and misc.one had some crates full of tele.pole insulators,just maybe some of that stuff is still there,also the old townsite of LARK at the highway intersection to bingham,would be a great place to sweep.i just heard recently that binghams a ghost town also!but bingham belongs to kennicott..let me know if you find anything..gimp55

thanks a lot for the information gimp....man you named about everything i want to find....need this snow to melt so i can get out my history books, and out in the field...well, I guess the winter gives us time to study up on where to hunt, if i find out anymore of tharea you're talking about, I'll bve sure to let you know, thanks a lot

also at the north end of the mtn.by the lake,between the smelter and refinery you"ll see foundations..that is the old town of garfield where my father was born (30"s)when i was a boy i"d walk around with dad kick around old toys and such..also across the highway to the ea. at the lake was a huge amusement park called saltaire built early 1900"s burnt to the ground 60"s i watched that fire from our rooftop in kearns!.i know there is alot of stuff waiting to be found..i also remember an old ghost town on the mtn. behind provo..hauled out a buckboard in 60"s put it in grand dads yard planted flowers in it!!go find some stuff and i"ll tell ya more!!gimp55
