I have a couple of larger trommels that process about 1 yd./hr. I use my fox for cleaning. I like the portability of the fox. A mountain goat is not designed to move yards of material, it is really small. There are a number of trommels available and I would recommend Summit Mining. If you want a reverse helix trommel I have an old Dixie Doodlebug I would sell. Think moving shovels and buckets versus scoops.

Cheers

Sean

LOL eventually yess in the second phase I am planning to move to large equipment and introduce dredging too. However small scale equpiment is vital for small scale miners there to replace mercury so I am kindda looking both directions.

Thanks for the link Great

Mercury is safe if handle properly.

True, unfortunately they handle it with bare hands burning it in the open inhale the fumes and improperly recycle, it is just ugly!

Just got an email from Danny at Summit Mining. His trommels are on sale for something like 20% off and I think that the last time I talked to him he said he may have one he is selling on commission for $1000. Give him a call.

Cheers

Sean
