You shrank the pictures too much. Try a minimum of 600 next time. 267 is just too small for any details.

That is a cool design. I am wondering how long it runs on a battery charge?  I have always used the hand cranked and gas blower powered models, but I am intrigued by this.

Looking good, looks like a lot of effort went into making it.

Great construction work Danny. I like your utilization of an old windshield washer motor for the drive. (Or is it a car door window motor?) I like building my own equipment also. I have a DPC, a trommel screen, and an auto panner I made myself. I will post the photos here. I did not make any drawings. Just built as I went along. My autopanner uses a salvaged 2 speed reversible windshield washer motor with pulleys and belts to turn the spiral gold pan. I have more photos, just posting one of each for now. By the way, I joined a local prospecting club today. It's called the Road Runner Prospectors Club and is located in Phoenix, Az. They have a couple of hundred claims throughout the state. All are guaranteed to have gold. Grin

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Xavier,
Are you referring to my designs, or Danny's? My autopanner uses a spiral gold pan. The little 45 degree couplers are sealed at one end  with a cap, and pick up water from a tub and dump it into the pan as it rotates. This allows the heavies to stay in the groove, and wash away the lights. Found the idea in an old prospecting magazine of years gone by. I plan to replace it with a spray bar and pump before the rainy season comes. I use a car battery (not shown) and it lasts  3-4 days of prospecting.
