Go Up Go Down

Hi,

Another older question but...

I HAVE sold scrap jewelry items in the past to a smelter that took in my scrap and sent me gold coins
in the dollar amount.  Why? The coins are US, S. African or Canadian minted 1 ounce coins.  These do
not require assaying and can sit in my safety deposit box collecting value.  AND often coins can pull
in ABOVE spot from a collector or off EBay.

Raw gold I have found... dust, flakes and nuggets... I've never sold any of it.  Something about raw
gold, I HAVE to keep it.  No no!
