Yeah I got some small ones that are done that way, But My Prospectors Picks are Done so they shear the ground with the Bevel facing upwards,

I might sound silly but a good pick is bordering on having to be better than the Detector because you can get by with an Average Detector but an Average Pick will Break and then your Trip is Cancelled, Crazy, Aye ??

That's why I like the Spring steal.   They don't chip or Break.  Cheapo Cast Iron will Break chunks out.  Had one I liked a lot and the dang thing broke off about 3 inches of the blade. Cast Sucks.

Yeah I know what you mean, After every trip even if I hit a stone in the hard soil I would have to re file the point or the back edge,

These ones are made out of Bumper/ Disc Plough Blades so I don't think I need worry too much, and they have a Great Curve On Them Too.
