Found this at the edge of a cornfield. It's a bit wavy from being dinged by farm equip over the years - esp near the bottom. Says Grant on the statue and 1897 is the date. Sue

I have this complete medal. If you would like, I can e-mail you a photo showing what kind of ribbon and colors used so you can display it. The colors of the ribbon were ususual.

That's neat, Steve - I'd love to see the photo. Any information you might have about it would be appreciated, too. I tried to research it online and couldn't find anything.
