Hi Conelius,
 I've looked into your recommendation about Clam Pass and have found out that beach Metal detectorists have found Cobs on the beach just on the north side of it. This would indicate to me that unless these cobs were part of a survivor's cache that the wreck isn't too far offshore.
What do you think?

Go for it Aquanut . There is something out there . Don't draw too much attention to yourself though other wise the vulchers will be upon you ! The files told me that there was something out there .  Do like I did and keep a low profile .  Cornelius
