What would a find like that at today's rates be worth? If a person was in good with the Dutch and would be willing to split say 50/50 or 60/40 with the government in question, surely you could get rich overnight, could you not? Dave , the Dutch government was cheated by the salvage company . That is why they are saying now  ,, no more salvage ,,  . You see Dave  there are always people that do not live up to the agreements they make .  The Dutch government was willing to give permits to any established salvage company . But .... when they were cheated they changed their mind , and rightly so .  The value of the cargo ( gold ) would be around 7 millions of todays money . Yes even with a devission of 40 / 60  you would be rich .   Cornelius
