Thanks for the story.I live in Florida and have heard a lot of them but never this.Anything about pirates gets my interest. Everyone dreams of finding a pirate ship with loot on board.There is a lot of it around.Some is buried on land some in water.Thanks again for the article

So it was a made up story and the rhyme really had nothing to do with pirates but many here go on as if it were true. I don't get it. Still, it is a good tale.
