do you guys have a metal strip in your money ? and would a large amount get a signal Detecting

? curious never thought of that before , gotta hope its in a tin i guess if it dont signal Wise

Actually since Bob is not an American, it is a legitimate question. Many different anti-counterfeiting devices are used by countries around the world. Indeed, many of the recent changes in US currency have been designed to incorporate some of the new anti-duplication measures already successfully employed elsewhere.

And there is a special thread that is inbedded in some of the newer currency.

I'm waiting to see my first "polymer" 5 pound note from Britain. Hopefully the next time one of my co-workers in the UK visits our office here, I'll get to see one.
