Cloudy morning in Chicago followed by a few rain showers. Same as yesterday  Angry
Yet, got to hunt for a couple of hours at the new side of the woods I've been exploring. As said earlier, this site is promising for it has given a few older wheaties. This morning prior to the rain, I found three more wheaties, a 1916 Buffalo, and an old tiny silverplated Christian lapel pin. The rain made me quit the hunt for now, but I will return to hit the many iffy signals I got on my way back. Yep, I will dig every single signal to clean the area from trash. My goal is to dig a few good silver coins or jewelry. First sign of silver today, so I'm certain it will give more  Rider

Thanks Arfieboy! Yes, I've been trying to hunt that new site, but the rain and being short of time have been some inconvenience. But I'll keep trying during the week after work. I'll keep you all posted.

Nice religious medal!  I love my small collection of religious medals.

I also had a spot that seemed to be great and absolutely had to dig up everything that was not iron.  It worked when I dug up my first Liberty V Nickel!

This morning I watched a video of these folks who dug a walking liberty that gave them an iron signal. Weird. My etrac is not set to pick up iron!!!!

Nice set of finds, I, like homefire, am still hunting for my first Buffalo Nickel.
I will keep trying, I"m told I"ll have better luck once I get a water MD, and get wet.

Homefire, Robroy,  I've found a number of Buffalo nickels over the years.  The places that have been the kindest to me for them have been the yards of old houses here in n.e. Oregon.  Keep hunting, you'll find yours eventually!   Detecting
