Go Up Go Down

On Friday, I spent the afternoon at the "well" and the area that I found the 41 Merc dime.
Got skunked on the silver again but found the earliest quarter(1968) and penny I've found yet.
It was also kind of interesting the way 3's came into play...3 quarters, 3 dimes, 30 pennies, one a 1930.
There's still some old coins remaining under some rocks at the "well", but I think that spot is burnt in my book. One barely readable old penny just doesn't justify the mud and bending over in one area for hours No no!
New ground awaits as soon as Mother Nature stops sprinkling the plants Angry
Added in the pic, is an old, fairly elaborate lock cylinder from maybe the 30's or 40's? It looks like a high security type.

Go Up Go Down

great finds for you when you revisit the site.

I dig these kinds of stories, and the finds made!  Great

Cheers,
Jim
