Had a look through my book of hallmarks and found 3 possible matches, I say possible as i need a super clear picture with the minutest of details as just a tail can make the difference. however going by these pics i would say its one of the following.
Edinburgh 1726
Exeter 1769
Newcastle 1861
I am leaning toward Edinburgh, if you have Macro on your camera, and can give me a really detailed picture. I can possibly give you a better date, the W is actually a date and place mark, not a makers mark.
