Go Up Go Down

Hello Folks,

It has been flooding in Arkie Land. Record rain fall
on at least one day.

This water was running over the road earlier.

{alt}

Here is the new base ball field.

{alt}

Was lookin for high ground in Tyndall Park,

{alt}

I hunted around these two large trees,

{alt}

Did not find much,

{alt}

but I did find a ring, a playboy pin and part of a
pocket watch,

{alt}

And then it started in again,

{alt}

But at least I got out for a little while. I hope this
this weekend will be dryer.

Thanks fer l@@kin,

Tabdog

From the land of the Bluenose....wowzer that must have been some rain.  Sad to see holy ground (ballfield) underwater.  Nice assortment of this and that.  Is the watch part silver?

Hay guys,

Tha ring is platted. The mounting is broke off.
I think it is brass.

The pocket watch back is heavy. It does not
decay. But it is not a presious metal.

It is from 10 to 40 years old. (my guess)

Thanks for respondin,

Tabdog

That is a watch comemorating the statehood of Arkansas.
That is the date, 1836, when Arkie Land became a state.

That design appeared about 40 years ago. If I remember right.
(I could be off)

Hay Mike,

sometimes I do dig it all. But, a place like that
would take a month for me to clean out. So, what
I was doing was to dig the signals that I thought
sounded good.

If you notice, I do not have one whole pull tab in
my finds. I have no aluminum cans. There are only
a few bottle caps.

I am able to tell those with some confidence. Believe
me when I say, they were every where. I just use my
feable brain to disc those out.

That is what I call "cherry picking".

It puts my brain in a neat place. But it can be tiring.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

Hi Tabdog.
Congats on your finds. You always come home with the goods.
I do have a question for you since you use a Tesoro MD.
The same question is for any one of the members that uses a Whites Spectra V3.
I would like you to run a simple test for me. I show that some time ago on YouTube with a Tesoro golden Sabre light, but not sure if its true or not.
Can you please try to detect a pair of plies? You should have no response of your detector.
Then put a copper or silver coin on top of it and see if the coin will be detected and Not masked from the plies?
I have been thinking to buy a new detector that will detect a coin next to a piece of iron. I been reading reviews but some how I don?t trust them.
Kind regards
Nickel
