Okay lets see if this satisfies for now. rough mind you I did have to cut the glass lid open a bit to get the solar panel in. But this is prototype no? So I did it in stages, cutting a bit then fitting then cutting some more etc. Also used no cooling on the blade so the lid cracked here and there.

Looks good, but why the frosted glass??? would it not be better to see the flies clearly?Huh? maybe put some plant in the jar and make the flies look like they are flying around the plant  Great

hi Pgill
I have seen these jars used as centre pieces for wedding tables where they have used moss and clear jars. I'm aiming it at the kids as a kind of night light. The lights can be white or any other colour and they then call them fairy jars.
Anyway all just prototyping for now.
Xavier I think you should make one in yellow for PGill......we'll call it a jar of magic gold coins Funny
