Go Up Go Down

Grin Grin Grin The finger story first WELL I have a chap that goes by the name of snack (Yep the spelling is quite right) any how I told this idiot to make sure that the cattle had water ( I have a water tank that takes about 4000 litres of water and it's on wheels) also that there are a few bails of grass for them. So as it was a wonderful morning I decided to take a walk up to where the cattle were and just see how thing were being done well to my surprise there was no water and no grass (Out comes the .38)  I then went back to the yard (3Km walk) where we keep all our tractors and implements and decided to take the Ford went back to the top of the land and got the water trailer then filed it up (That only takes 19 min) and drove it all the way back up to where the cattle were (Up till now fingers OK  Kiss) any way once I got to the place where the water should be I dropped the front leg and rear leg to prevent the trailer from tipping either way then I placed the one rock by the left wheel (Finger still OK) then I placed the other rock at the right wheel now it's not a big rock but full of iron the dimensions are about 700mm x 300 but it's got a bit of a cone shape to it so the other side is about 150mm and the thing is that this rock is just the right size and shape for that wheel but some how when I put it down (Dropped it)  it did not quite fit the way that I wanted it to so I decided (Stupid) to pull it away from the wheel well I puled at it and yanked at it but it did not budge I guess that the trailer must have moved just a bit forward and it held the rock in place. But stubborn as a mule I am I yanked at it again and it came loose but with a force downwards AND GUESS WHAT WAS under it Me freaking finger  Grin damn that was %#$^ pain full. (Finger NOT OK any more  Grin )

OK now I need to sort this out. See this well this is called compassion (This is meant for you Mr Petter Gill)

QUOTE " Poor Xavier, that's not a great start to the year mate,

May you be blessed with masses of treasure when you get your detector working,  Wink

AU "

All you ever do when you come to my place is steal MY treasure, eat MY vegetables and MY cheese and all you ever bring me is all the crap that you don't want by you any more. But I still love to hate you mate  Wink But you have never ever ever wished me to find treasure  Angry

So Homefire did you ever get the old banger on the road again Damn that makes me think of a song LOL (On the road again) I'll bet that Renegade7 listens to it all the time LOL

Hi there mate (Renegade7) still have all your marbles mate well if you stick around much Peter will steal some from you and the other Well you'll just loose them  Crazy  any way I just wanted to say that it's nice to have you here with us.

Well have fun.PS  I just wont tell what's up with the detector yet I'm  Boxing with it LOL  Waveing

I am never lost until I run out of gas. I had a lot of marbles once, but all that rolling round in my head irritated me so, I poured most of them out. Ridge Runner, don't forget your metal detector on ye walk about. All you others are just plain nuts, lol Good night and happy Easter to ye all.

PETER ME LAD you know that heap of crap that you brought to my place well I found a great bit of shielded wire and just the right length for my VLF so I cut the darned thing in half and with a big smile on my dial I soldered it to the coil and to the electronics ONLY to find that the detector was not working any way after about 45min of searching what the hell could have gone wrong I found that even the shielded wire is a load of crap the damned wire is broken inside the sleeve.  And yes my cows do mean more to me than what you do the only %^$^& they give me is manure and I can use in the fields I can't even use a stinking bit of wire from all the crap that I got from you. And by the way I got the detector to work, detection depth is bad but I was not trying to get the depth but rather all the rest working like the dual audio and the discriminator, receiver and transmitter. NOW I will work on the coil to get the depth right.
