Typical of X, and you think I am mad... at least I did not keep the beers in the fridge  Teach That new version of pin-pointer is just not right...  No no! in fact it is quit shocking if you ask me  Funny Funny Funny

Arfie, you must have a great trip  Great stay safe and take your detector with  Welcome Sorry that X is letting you down, now you see what I go though... the truth always shines through  Sunny Those finds of X are also nice, love the buckles.... you need to use electrolysis and then a coating of wax for preservation. The bullet cases I clean them and spray with a clear lacquer   Clapp

To what I have found out... those pegs are for nailing fencing wire to trees etc quick and easy to erect a fence for holding the horses....  Kiss

Go Up Go Down

Hi Peter, I'm back. Went to Alaska to the Klondike gold rush Trail to do a little exploring with the old M.D. Unfortunately the US and Canadian authorities wouldn't let me get within 40 miles of the trail with the M.D. . Oh Well! We still had a good time and saw lots of beautiful views. Rode the narrow gauge train that was built to carry the miners to the Klondike. Did a little hunting around the town of Ketchikan didn't come up with anything but budweiser caps.

I see everything is normal in sunny S.A., You still bugging x about the Mythical pinpointer, X juggling sheep, and building M.D. and everything else. I see you had a good day at the Boer War site on the 10th of May. Nice Brooch. and strange ring. These are two items you don't see every day.  Cool

Hi Gambol,

Welcome back to the world of the living  Great sounds like you had a great time? Beautiful country....  Kiss I thought a person could go there and do a bit of mining, umm guess I was wrong  No no! That water looks great, but also looks freezing cold  Shame glad that you had a great time. Is that a photo of you would the good wife?

That mythical pin-pointer became reality  Cheesy but I was only allowed to test it out for Sunday afternoon, probably has some secret circuits in that box which I am not allowed to see  Police it did work well though once I got the hang of it  Great so mythology has now turned into reality  Detecting

Those finds were pretty special, they are my first jewelry finds so was very happy with them  Kiss unfortunately X had to work on getting his detector working so lost a lot of time detecting  Idiot but in the end, he did find some stuff as you can see in his photo's  Rider

I am sure that you have noticed the abuse that X and his buddies are giving me  Shocked so I am glad that you are back as I need some backing on this topic  Funny Funny Funny Funny

Damn if only you knew how much I want to beat him up from time to time. Now do you see why I want to make a special pin-pointer for him with the electrodes. Shocking I tell you the way he caries-on  Grin

Hey guys  Shocked check out my project that I have been working on.... a light ring for macro photography  Great needs a little work to perfect it, but it is mainly to put a 12 volt battery instead of a 9 volt battery. Oh ad just in case you are wondering.... the 9 volt battery belongs to X  Grin Grin Grin he borrowed it to me for the pin-pointer and I forgot to give it back  Touch it works great  Great

You could even place a voltage regulator on it so as to be able to control the amount of light that you need or you could use PWM to control the intensity of the light. Nice one mate where did you get the LED lights ripped it off a car hey.

LED light strip cost R70 at a spares shop  Great not worried about the brightness, as the more brighter the better... will get a rechargeable 12 volt battery tomorrow  Great

I was also thinking about the pin-pointer  Idea why not make the box that it can clip onto the detectors stem with a long wire probe  Idea that would be great as then you keep it with the detector like your one, just a thought  Shocked
