I ate snake once, the flesh is as white as chicken and tastes good too. I had a guy that use to work for us when he saw a frog he would run but snake were no problem to him, me I see a snake and all you can smell is rubber and .... LOL so I guess that I wont be coming to visit you mate Sad

digs every weekend providing the weather does not stop them. If you look at the site today, you will see the posts of what was found yesterday..... some great stuff Great

I was not on the dig yesterday as I had a family party No no!

but hey, I went today on my fields Cheesy

X, I could not believe what I have all to myself Kiss

all the fields together are about 100 acres, and the buildings on the edge of the first field are workshops and bunkers from the 2nd world war,,,,, they worked on Lancaster bombers at these workshops..... Air force (RAF)..... Anyway, just to let you know.... I found 10 buttons from the 1500 - 1600's, a complete buckle (no date yet) plus a piece of a buckle.... Roman pottery, and the best a 1877 silver 3 pence,,,, bad news though is it was bent with a plough,,,, damn, why do they not use ploughs with rubber teeth Shocked

I know how you feel Peter and I have given it a lot of thought, I think that ploughs should be band and that only a riper and a hoe should be used when working the fields, Tell you what I'll cut mine up and sell it for scrap in the morning Hows that mate?

I have a buddy I talk to in Lincolnshire UK all the time. He's in the middle of Farm Lands that was Overtaken by the Romans back when.

He say's he has a Detector but I'm thinking it something like a Radio Shack or the Like.

I can't seem to be able to get him to use the thing. He bought it to find some keys in the snow one day.
