Western Deep Levels

As you probably have gathered from the article, the mine changed it's name a few years back to African names.... We do get a fair amount of "fall of ground" tremors which sometimes knocks pictures of the walls  Funny Funny Funny

X, are you scared of a little snow  Shocked and 30km/h winds? Oh, and 30% chance of rain..... Goodness, not much going for us hey  Grin Grin Grin I did buy 1/2 dozen beers and have kept them out of the fridge.... Just a little refreshment  Wise

I would like to do some video work, but that will also depend on the weather, lets wait and see what happens  Amen

Gambol, that's a neat find. I'm with Xav I think you got something good there.

It's actually cold there? I thought you guys were joking.  Embarrassed Shows how much I know lol. I can still find a lil snow here but it's above 8000 feet now and patchy. Most of the big mines here still running are all above ground they just chew the top off the mountains.

I'd probably end up in jail with Homes cause I know I'd be out digging somewhere anyway. Every time I hike by a rock outcrop I have to look for caves in case it's where outlaws stashed some of the 100lb bars stolen from the mines in the way back...  I can't help myself... it's an addiction. Hoping to go get some yaller stuff tomorrow if there is still enough water to run the dredge.  Cheesy

Maybe if you find a gold coin or two you can make a shiny new tooth Xav Grin

Kiss I love my coins toooo much. I think that Peter told you that the gold here in SA is far too deep for any of us to get to it (there are some places), but what he did not tell you is that we are always looking at tale tale signs like quartz, and when ever I go past a river I can't help my self to stop for a few hours reading the signs Remember I'm an X diamond diver and I do have a general knowledge on mineralogy especially of our area and when it comes to diamonds.  So call me an out law if you like but as far as I'm concerned gold is for any one that finds it. (and so for diamonds) God did not say in the bible that the government owns it ( or did I miss a paragraph? ) so now you can call me a communist too but at the end of the day I think that we all are in our small way  Smiley   and by the way when I say "you can" I'm referring to all opposed but no one in particular.   OK Peter lets hear it mate  Grin

Anyway, tomorrow is close bud, maybe a gold coin or two where we are going  Kiss As for the weather it might suck, but hey the finds will warm us up  Funny Funny Funny Funny
