Lets see 60miles that would be about 96Km in SA it's about a 40min drive so if you leave at 04h00 you will be there by 05h00 put in an 8 hour of hard work means that you can be back home by 14h00 and by 18h00 you can tell us what the stuff looks like, then if you work through the night you can have your gold ready to sell by the morning so lets just say that by 09h00 you have sold your gold. On your way back from the bank at about 10h00 you buy a new car and drive home with a big smile on your dial by 12h00 you have the wife in the car and you drive back to you golden spot, but this time you spend the night at the motel to celebrate, Well mathematically this sound very feasible mate LOL

detecting was a disaster found an old dart and a stainless steel washer LOL but I did get my fix WHOooaaahhh and I must say that I do feel a lot better now

Sounds better then My Finds. Hell I was thinking of Getting out the Finishing Sluice and doing some Sands to show that guy I have gold in my front Yard. 20 Million years ago this was the Delta of the Membres river that whittled down the Mtns to the North. It has Black Sands and QUARTZ up the kazoo. I figure about a 1/2 gram of Gold Per Ton.

Oh and BTW x, I am going detecting a 100 acre field with all different eras in it :-) it has been detected before, so it will be the pickig we need to find.... cannot wait Great
