at least with DB Cooper, his cash occasionally turns up even though he hasn't

I fixed it no problem

Did all of Coopers cash show up are just part of it. Thought I heard that a group looking for it said that he dumped part of the cash hoping the law would think he died and would not look for him. This might be one for the wrecking crew.  Grin

Last I heard about DB Copper, was a few bundles of bills were found in the sand on some lake by a 14 year old kid.

He was the first to Jump from a 727 copy catted later by others.

I wonder if Parachutes are allowed as Carrie on these days?  LOL!

reminds me of that unsolved hijacking with the money never solved. i think the guys name was cooper.
i would imagine a heck of a nice price would be fetched for that amount of gold. i have 2 ounces sitting around from detecting the last few months. i keep waiting to see if gold is going to keep going up or dive. i'm greedy.its at an all time high and i still want it higher. lol.

would love to find that gold in the river along with a million other detectorists.

I might be going treasure hunting myself here in Alabama!

I'm curious to read all of the comments under this article.

I'm still skeptical because it still amounts to 96 lbs of gold, give or take a few ounces......that's an awful lot of gold no matter how you look at it.
