Sounds like a good one , Im in New Zealand , south pacific.  Can i join ? GPAA sounds interesting , are you still a member ?, ive wanted to visit the  USA , i have relatives there , some in Chicago. lots of interesting history and treasure sites all over  Cool do yoou know about the little bighorn treasure , it sounds simmiler :>

As far as I know, anyone can join the GPAA. I live in Australia and I'm a life member but I must admit I joined when I lived in California. You can go to their site and ask about it.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

One thing to think about when looking for stuff in rivers is the Arabia. It sunk in the Missouri River then the course of the river moved over time and a few years ago it was found in a cornfield.  Shocked
