Thanks mate. I'm seriously starting to think that I am having other issues than just the coil though

Perhaps the frammistan or the blitzmotor converter are malfunctioning.

It could be that the Disgronificating Quark Counter is slightly out of adjustment.  That can be rectified by a precise and meticulous adjustment of the Metrocyclic Retuner in Phase 7!     Grin

Hi Mr X
at least I am taking you serious
just wondering what is the dc resistance of your finished coils ?

The DC resistance is meaningless. That is one of the parameters that defines the selection of the MOSFET. It has no effect at all on coil function.

TX 20.8R and RX 22.4R but it's like GD said this will not affect the coil function, what maters is the inductance and that is within the perimeters. My problem is not with the coil it's else where. The only thing that I can think of is that I replaced the J107 for a 2N4391 also a switching transistor.

Xavier...I'm thinking that you might be having a reaction between the super glue and the coating on the wire causing dielectric variations between windings.  As the glue dries and everything contracts and when dry it still has varying insulation thickness that gives you a different reading than the beginning.  Try finding a less reactionary glue, maybe even water based which wouldn't dissolve or soften the wire coating.

Hi Gramps

I found a cheaper super glue and the problem seems to have gone away the funny thing is that it was made by the same manufacturer

Well now ain't that the way, what counts is that you found a solution and it costs less, that's a plus.

Y'all take care,
Gramps
