Hm, strange piece. Looks to be handmade to me and I would want to think for sure older than 50 years. May have been a pendant on some sort, possibly with an engraving but just worn down. Was it a beach finde? If yes this might explan some wear.

Hey there Christian,
It definitely looks handmade, I found it this morning at a small picnic area next
to a little league baseball field which is next to the ocean.
I can't tell what it's made of either  Undecided
