I just removed the cups until getting more info. The St. Patrick idea sounds good for it is a big deal in Chicago, but not sure.

Hi Cyber!  I had some A&W mugs like that.  Over the years we washed them in the dishwasher.  They were originally Orange and washing them caused them to fade to the color of green seen on yours.  Had them for years...  the more we washed them, the greener they got!

Sorry, Cyber, we threw them out years ago.  Thinking back on it, they changed to green, like yours, then with more years of washing the green did fade to a much lighter, almost yellowish green before we got rid of them.

But yours do look like they may have been green, originally.  Almost look brand new.
