Back in the day when Karl and I were in Cub Scouts, the blue diamond slide with the wolf's head was the only "official" neckerchief slide for Cub Scouts, in fact they didn't even have a special one for Webelos until about the time my brother got old enough to become one.   Back then all Cub Scouts wore the same uniform.   Now every thing changes every time a kid reaches the next rank which has got to make it much more expensive for parents.

And that Webelos slide should be polished brass with the fleur-de-lis an enamel blue enamel on the lower half so it actually looks like a stylized W on a fleur-de-lis, that W on the Boy Scout background using the Cub Scout blue and gold colors represents Webelos as the transition from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.   It's hard to believe the last time I was active in Scouts was a little over 38 years ago.....I must be getting senile, because I can still remember some of the things that happened just as though they happened a week ago.

I hear ya BA , wish my memory still worked like that, Shooter those sites i dont think are current for what ever is being used this year but they should give u a good idea at how the slides looked with colors etc.
