TS is a clasmason in the Knight's Templar , they like skulls , so it could be a commerative ring from a Masonic order.

Hi Christian,
The only thing I can think of, is a motorcycle gang club ring, and the 25 being of course 25 years. However clubs that have been in exsistance for that long are few and far between. It may be from a west coast club. do you remember where the ring was sent from?

I believe it is a 25 year membership ring from the Knight's Templar.
During the 1800's, this type of design was part of KT's regalia.
Comemorative lapel pins with this design on a triangle apron can
still be bought today. I can't quite make out the emblem on the
opposite side of the band. Unless it's a copy, I'd say it's a fairly old
ring.

Could be Masonic.
The 25 might represent attaining the "25th Degree" of freemasonry - "Knight of the brazen serpent" ?

Thanks all for your feedback! Masonic & Knights Templar were the 2 most common suggestions I have had so far. Hells Angels is however new to me. So what which of the three could it really be!?

Regads,

Christian

This same exact design can still be bought today on lapel pins
for about $6 dollars. They are a copy of an old style design that
was embroidered on a triangular apron & worn by some groups
of the Templars back in the 1800's. A KT Commandery in the
south is selling this pin & about 6 other pins. They can be seen
in the monthly Templar magazine. The skull & bones were used
long before motorcycles were invented & not everything of this
design is related to groups that mostly began after WWII.

I think that ring is a membership ring I dont think the 25 is anything to do with years and youve got to workout what the TS stands for . I see there are initials inscribed inside the ring but no member number .
I found a badge that had an inital inscribed on the back but it also had a member number as well.
I dont think its the Masons they have had their own symbol for hundreds of years they have used the ( Square and  Compass ) they do have a ring but it also has the Square and Compass
The Knights Templars symbol is the ( Pentagram ) they also have a ring and it also incorporates a pentagram .   Not to say there is a variation or sub-branch using something different .

Did the ku klux Klan have any symbols like that ?
