Maybe its time boys !

                          Time to have a holiday Down Under, where the gold nuggets are big and plentyfull and heaps of room to move and scarcity of people to trip over .
                           Yep we have found the some of the biggest nuggets in the world here as late as 1980 when they found The Hand of Faith ,it is now in The Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vagas .  Cost them $1million dollars back then .  It was only a few inches under the ground and found with a metal detector .
                          You will need a 4x4 with plenty of camping equipment as some of the places could be hundreds of miles from civilisation some places,   no proper roads at all , the roads are called developement roads they are sometimes dirt and they are used by the road trains ,                 Semis hauling cattle that could have 4 or 5 trailers hooked behind .  Looks pretty awsome weaveing  across the highway like a big snake . youve got to pull off the road if one is coming towards you they wont get over for you just one lane and its theirs .

Hi all,

I am in Gippsland, Victoria, which also has had quite a bit gold discoveries.
Not too far from here is an active Gold mine.

Have done some detecting up them thar hills, found lots of left-overs from 100 years ago in places which look absolutely virgin. Good area for detecting and solitude.

Nevertheless, I will do my detecting in Victoria's Golden Triangle, 'cause that's where the bigger nuggets still are, but one needs a good detector and lots of patience.
Anyhow, if anyone wants a detector buddy, gimme a PM and let's see what can be done.
