It's Gotta have something to do with the Rotation of the Earth, Ya Know?

Toilet vortex flows and all, Ya Know!

Here in the Northern Half, it flows  Counter Clock Wise.  LOL! Edit, I had to go Conferm Rotation.

Down south, GD's Flows  Clock wise. 

So I surmise you have to know what Dirrection to twist the cup.

Personally, I would add Clear Jello and it would work every time.  

Mental Note:   I wonder how many Bone Head Really Tried this?  MuHaHa Ha.
