get a 55 gallon barrel run the exhaust pipe out the roof or out a window, cut some airvents in the front of the drum and a door and add 2" of dirt to the inside bottom of the drum, add firewood and newspaper and a match.

TADAA instant fireplace.    Wink

Heck look on craigs list people give away stuff for free all the time, click on the Free link and sooner or later u will see a free standing fireplace listed for free. Just cause someone wants it gone and doesnt want to fool with getting paid for it etc.

I built one of those drum stoves from a kit.  It worked great.  The kit was the front door, the legs, and the opening for the flue.  They make them in 30 gallon also.  But DEMMING doesn't have trees for wood anyhow does it?
