it was good race .baggers yep they prey on folks who are down  its funny when i was helping the kid raise money for their football team  it was always folks who didn't have much money givin and the folks that look like they did wouldn't even talk to ya . football here Karl takes a back seat to basket ball .  frustates the time out of me growin up in bama   the school would pay for their whims and we couldn't even get equipment  had the same pants for 5 years  had to raise $$  i we car shows hog roasts  bean suppers concerts the players had a lift a thon in the weight room  about 5 couples doing the bulk of the work  other parents would say we would like to help but we work  when i would hear that i would have to turn and walk away before i hit somebody  me and the wife work full time + and she is going to colledge both an hour away from were we live. some didn't even come to games. i told my son as long as he made the grades and put his heart in it i would be behind him and his team $100% and if they lost it wouldn't be  because of me not being there cheering them on . now i will have more time

Karl back in the early 80s i bought a small journal 327ci/ 350hp corvette motor, from a 66 corvette from a friend it was all in bit and boxes with a forged
crank,TRW fully floatin pistons with deep grove cir clips, and i need to know the differance between S@#? from clay so i bought every small block book there was and all the books on big blocks , from chevy's ,ford's and mopars ,But Smokey was the man thatmade me want to go further, and i felt like i new him, One thing that sticks in my mind is the time he built his own Indy car and it went that fast
it frightend the crap out of the race officials that they would'nt let him race it.

he's one person that changed my life, and i went back to colledge when i was 30 to become a machanic , a they said that i reset the
standards at the colledge and i got Honours passes, So when it comes to Smokey I owe him a lot

John - I saw that.  We had a new visitor there too.

Karl - the new mp3 came preloaded with 7 songs, but somethings wrong.  When you pass the coil over metal, the mp3 plays the first note only and not the rest of the song.  To be truthful, its not even much of a musical note, its more like a beep.

Pat u were asking a while back about a pick up tool , well this one is the best out there in my opinion
it stays with the gator has two spring loaded tool holders to hold it in place , we have had it for years now.
also had the ones that fold in the middle and a few of the others with the rubber round suction cup ends on them, None have held up as good as this one !! Smiley
