Global Warming does it exist

OK for the last century cigarettes have been legal and "safe" theirs nothing wrong with them at all just ask Phillip Morris and a doctor who even prescribed them to my grandma. "1960's one prescribed them to my grandma to help her with her with her appetite she smoked up until last year when she died of emphysema, she also had lung cancer. but now we know the truth they even are required to print it on the package. many scientist knew this and tried too worn us for decades, but they were hushed by lobbyist and propaganda but now we know the truth! i will not go into depth on all of the hundreds if not thousands of other things that are harmful "cancer causing agents" for us but lobbyist, lawyers, paid politicians, and corporations have hidden the real truth from us but here is a few, growth hormones, genetically modified crops, pesticides, oil by products, Co2, alcohol, lead, these are just a few things that every one was saying hey they are OK. but we now know the truth even though not much has changed? we all know why...$   
Now we are being told by some scientist that we are destroying the very planet we live on by emitting to much Co2 along with other chemicals that retain heat in our atmosphere causing global warming and that if we don't stop, it will be catastrophic. hmmm WHAT SHOULD I BELIEVE? perhaps the the four wheel drive diesel driving , cigarette smoking, whiskey drinking, nascar fan that hasn't read a headline of news in two weeks and then it was only one head line and it was titled "earth is actually cooling" having no idea that the one scientist that wrote this conclusion was paid by Exxon to do his research and that now he has enough money to move to some happy place for the rest of his life and if it floods he'll just grab his bag of money and move to hire ground. maybe i should believe the lawyer, politician, corporation, or any other non believer or should i say paid person. Well I'm not going to believe its not happening I'm going to try and make a difference even if no one else does in fact I try and do all that I can just in case you know its BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY!!! I would ask all of you that read this too try and help out as well.

I believe in freedom as well but only if it does not harm or endanger others, some people will have to sacrifice for the benefit of others

Ahh, but there's the rub.....Who decides and based on what criteria and do those who are at risk of losing their right to choose get to have a say?

This is one of those subjects where passions tend to run high on all sides.  Unfortunately, where passion runs high, civility can be swept aside and things are done in the name of expediency and/or self-preservation that would not be tolerated otherwise.  (and in case I'm not being clear, that last statement was not aimed at any particular side of the debate).    

I wish every group discussing Global warming was as civil as this group has been.

Your right BA there is a lot of bull on both sides of this debate. And I think both sides are wrong to some extent. With out getting into a big scientific debate the earth has been going though warm and cool stages for 3.5 million years its not going to stop.

People that drive cars are a threat to me!  I want it band.

People that fight wars in defence of there countries are a threat to me, I want it band.

People having the means to protect them selves from danger are a threat to me!   I want it band.

Some One Please put me in a Glass Bubble and Don't forget to Feed me?
