It's pretty clear with the ice caps of Kilimanjaro, Greenland, and  the North Pole either melting or disappearing that the Earth is warming. However, it should be more correctly called "climate change" as that will be the end result of this "global warming."

Actually I believe there are recent studies that indicate the ice caps of Greenland and the North Pole are NOT melting or disappearing and that the Kilimanjaro projections are based on both an unusually cold initial point and on other factors besides man-made global warming.   Sorry, I don't have the links at my fingertips, but if necessary I'm sure I can find them in the recent literature on the subject (i.e within the last 6-9 months).

Speaking of which, people on all sides of the global climate change (including both those that think man is responsible for any change that may be occurring and those who don't believe there is any way man could be responsible) might find this site of interest.   At the very least, it will give you some points to ponder....not being a climatologist or involved in any of the related fields, I'm not going to vouch for anything in the area.  I'm just tossing it out for consideration.   Beware, it is long.

all you have ever wanted to know about GW and its by google so its free and you can use it to research all things just look up found treasure. when the results come back you can look through what ever years you want by clicking on that section of the graph. many things you can read some will pay I bought some old time reads for a few bucks and was glad I did Cheesy

Global warming my hind end.  Al Gore got mad and took his global warming ball and went home.  We can't play any more.  I'm wishing for just a bit of global warming right now.  I'm doing my part by eating beans, and feeding the leftover beans to the dogs, but I can't fart enough to get the temps above freezing or the winds below 15 mph.  I've burned almost 2 cords of firewood this winter already and dumped right at 500 gallons of propane trying to keep this place tolerable enough to not have to wear a coat in the house.  My male parts are still hiding inside my belly, and at this point they probably won't appear until June, but it'll be nice to see them again.

Come on global warming!  Help me out!
