Thanks.  I've got a lot of studying to do before I consider doing this myself.

Well Karl the more I study this system the more I like it (you can never run the engine too lean). I would go for a bigger device but not to big either, I would either use an existing intake manifold modified to have a butterfly or make a new one from stainless steel. For the vaporizer I'd go the electronic root using the exhaust for heating. I would also make the fuel reservoir (Jar) out of stainless steel with a float.

Every Car/Truck has a PVC valve.  This uses Engine Vacuum to pull Fumes out of the Crank Case and Reburn them.   Just use that line to Inject your Vapor.  I would go with a U Sonic vaporizer.   Cheap, Easy and simple.  No Heat Needed.

Yep that's what mine does sucks those fumes/heat thru the 3/4in brass t block then 6 foot of gas line hose from the brass t to the back of air box (carb-throttle body) or in take manifold it takes 6 foot of hose to vaporize the gas from liquid to vapor when it goes to intake to cylinders. That's why I like my little one as no fiddleing with it just set it and forget it. I need to make a larger on like the quart jar to get some more mileage but I go a lot inside of town anymore and so I don't have to mess with the adjustment like on the larger bottles. Not as good of mileage but no messing with it either and still get about 10+ miles a gallon more. The small one has it's draw backs as with not as much mileage.  shortribs

Wife is not cool with me experimenting on her our only car.   Under The Guise of Darkness, I will add a small unit as I'm the Want to be mechanic and Oil Monitor guy.  Yea, I monitor Gas Mileage too.  I'll start with a simple Vacuum bubbler in the PVC line.    This Is a Dodge Neon.  Dodge sucks they way they pack the engine in the cars. Not much room to play with here.   Being Injected, I will us the PVC line as stated earlier.  No Electronics, just a Bubbler. I think I have a Place buy the AC box to put a two quart bubbler.

Only Dodge puts a water pump in the engine behind the timing belt.   Now That is Lame.

The diesel 4 cyl of Mother Earth News  gets over 100 mpg but that's a diesel and a fiberglass body I believe. It's a kabota tractor engine so they have done some modifying to get the mileage up. With all the new electronic brains and gadgets they have managed to raise the mileage on a regular pick up from 17 mpg from the 70's to 25+ mpg now with electronic valve timing here in the USA. I wish they would bring back the Isuzu pickups again , nothing more than a beer can with 4 tires but the mileage was great for me anyway.    shortribs

When I was in the UK, fuel was sold by the Liter.   About $4.00 a Liter.     Shocked
