Go Up Go Down

I just got my F2 this week. It's much lighter than my White's classic III, but there's snow everywhere and it's driving me nuts. So I'm studying the manual and praying for temps at least in the 40's

i dont know what you like to hunt  but  the 4 inch coil is deadly on coins  i run mine in all metal  with sensitivity all the way down  use the head phones and dig every thing cause gold shows up in foil/range so i dig everything   i love mine got several coins & a bayonnette  just be patient with it  wish they came with better head phones  w/curly cord. the ones they send from retailer (free so i shouldn't complain )get in the way . if you just coin hunt the best most repeatable signals in the id range will be coins   nickels are a little tricky though but i think the more expensive machines share this issue   hope you like it and post lots of finds and happy hunting .

I totally agree about the 4" coil. It also makes it easier to pinpoint a target. last week I found an indian head cent, 2 wheaties and 75 cents in clad. Gotta take a little time off to recover from eye surgery, but I'm going back out there with the 4 " coil as soon as I can.

I just got mine a few days ago but on a scale of 1-10 I give it a 9 for the price and accesories I got with it the only problem I found was it is really sensitive to power lines you dont want to be within about 50 ft of any power lines electric fences etc.

Sounds like you've got a very sensitive machine and thats what you need fer gold and fine jewelery, I had the f4 and that was good
and that small coil is a killer if you want to surgiclly clean an area,WTG

Well if you get some fishing split shot you can test it going down in size that will give you a idea of what it will pick up???
