Ive been using my F2 all summer and love it.

Whoa! How about a page break or paragraph break every now and again, mate? Your posts would be much easier to read that way. There's good information there but hard to pick out.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Oh, man, you do that and I send my cousin Guido out to see you. I have quite enough typing and editing to do every day.

Josey, I don't think any metal detector gets obsolete.  We just move on like Seldom said.  I still use a couple of old Compass detectors.  My X-70 is like 27 years old and I still love it!  It is not computerized  I had it adjusted once in all these years and it just keeps on talking to me straight and when I can get out it still pinpoints great finds.  Good luck with your F2!   Detecting  Wise
