And now i am world's biggest pessimist.

That would be a big mistake

They also say that a pessimist is an optimist with experience but don't take it to the third degree

LostWanderer, don't worry about it...we all had to start learning at some point in time.

when the cons were in the bluebowl it was yellow so i assumed it was gold. when its dry it was black with glisters inside.

A puzzle! What looks like yellow metal but turns black when dry? Lets try to solve this mystery.
Questions:
1) Do you have any photos of the yellow metal before it was dried?
2) Did you mean that it turned black after it was heated and dried in the furnace?
3) Did you smell a sulfurous scent as it was being heated?
4) Did you use any flux in the furnace?
5) is your furnace capable of reaching 1200 Centigrade?

At this point, I'm thinking you have encountered iron pyrite. It would be to your advantage to learn how to identify gold and not totally rely on the old man geologist.

Questions:
1) Do you have any photos of the yellow metal before it was dried? attached
2) Did you mean that it turned black after it was heated and dried in the furnace?no, while it was in bluebowl it was yellowish, when taken out there was much glister but went a little darker
3) Did you smell a sulfurous scent as it was being heated?little bit but i mixed it with borax
4) Did you use any flux in the furnace?Borax
5) is your furnace capable of reaching 1200 Centigrade?Capable of 1,300 c electric induction furnace

Like GD said i think i have to pan it out a little bit more but the problem is that its all heavies and i am struggling in separating it.

I've never encountered blue clay before but if you care to google "blue clay and silver", the results may interest you. Oxidized silver ore is blackish-grey, and at times black granules may be particles of gold concealed by a coating of gangue. Yup you've got a lot more panning to do before anything's ready for melting/smelting. Don't throw away any black sand that you've separated by panning...it may still contain valuable metals.

Pan smaller quantities. It's very hard to pan as much as you have in the pan. When you get down to this stage, no more than a couple of tablespoons. It makes the work easier and faster in the long run.

You could construct a simple Miller table for now to screen out the black sand.
