Garrett AP Pro

I just ordered a Garrett AT Pro metal detector, a Garrett Pin-pointer, and a Lesche digging tool. I can hardly wait until they arrive because I am on a mission to find my Mother's class ring that I was wearing and lost over 50 years ago. No no!

I know within a hundred square foot area of where it is unless someone has stumbled upon it. If I can find it, I will take it as a good omen of things to come. Grin

Great choices all! cut a wide plug around your target. Make another sweep right after the plug is removed. You will succeed! Keep us posted. When you finish you can mail the AT to me.javascript:void(0);

I will definitely report the results of my mission. I will first need to learn to operate my new Garrett after it arrives on or about Sept. 7th, and then I will set out on my quest. The area I will be searching is not one that should have attracted other relic hunters. I am moderately optmistic about my chances. The street has been widened slightly, but not much. I was throwing a rock at a bird when the ring flew off, so hopefully it is in the field adjacent to the street.

Well just goes to show you should leave little birds alone besides they did you nothing except sing you a melody Grin

That ring could be any where but yes probably in the direction of the projectile unless it bounced of a rock and went in a totally different direction. Looks like you have quite a search on your hands.
