Hi,
Seldom, i did have that thought it was to a like to the mexican gold one, which was talked about before and the number of flights involved to ship it , so was a little confused.
My input well query, would be , what has been missed in the main obscure picture, if for instance if it was messed about with various saturation levels , contrast and colours then it shows up a number of things that i think need questioned , if it is fake then it would be the notes of the forger, if not then?? ....
for example
1/ right of big pillar , just prior to the arc....is a signature / initials (capitals)
2/ the column on the far right top section in the background is one / two circular things, like faded faces perhaps more
3/ the 3rd big triangle , within this the 1st small triangle has a X in it
4/ as does under step 4
5/ under the steps and back slash are faded symbols, 1st being what i can best describe as an eagle , head to the left. (germanic? or religious?)
6/ the brickwork around the 1st small arc , 2nd row 3rd brick is another X
I think there is other bits and pieces but have not really tried to suss them out.
Hence why i wondered why would a forger leave so much behind in notes or scribbles?
hope that clarifies my questioning
wuzneme
