Well there might be an account Seldom. I ran across this story which on the surface seems to be an insider viewpoint of the players. It's a twisted tale and I won't even comment on the subject matter beyond saying it is interesting. Get a big drink and a pillow as its a long read if you dare.

Ok no print out just to long with to many links to follow heck the Selected bibliography and references part is 4 or 5 pages long alone. Well read it over and follow the links as time lets me.

Well I agree that archeologist don't always draw the right conclusions but I also think we need to stay away from the Erich von Däniken conspiracy stuff

I am there with you Homes, just didn't want to go astray from the cave just yet. Be glad to discuss it in another thread though. Smiley

Seldom yeah it's friggin long. I read about 90% so far. It's definitely a biased account, but some of the references seem to paint a different character to the affair. Not sure what I think.

The part that discusses the Native American connection was interesting.

No Conspiracy here.   These are facts.  Those Aeroplan models were found.    They fly.

A glider model was found in Egypt and it too was found to fly.

Huh?

Nothing about the Ideal Run Ways found down in Paru?

Nothing about the Ground Sculptures that can only be seen from the the 5 or 10 thousand foot level?

I still think people have been around a lot longer then most think.

No more from me.

Many toys have been found in south America with wheels but no American tribe use the wheel. A toy is just a toy now if a full size plane was found then  science would have to change its opinion. One of the few things that science has not explained is the Baghdad battery they think it was used to electroplate metal and I agree to a point but where did the technology come from? That's never been explained.

Jones I have read most of that link along with many of the links. Flavin seems to be a good researcher and it looks like he did not leave anything out, it did save me/us days of research. Right now I am thinking the whole thing was a hoax for what reason I am not sure unless it was just a bragged looking for fame.

Don't miss the link near the bottom ("Come Out of the Cave, Russ!") it revivals a lot.

That's the kind of stuff I'm talking about.  What Possible Purpose could a jar with two dissimilar metals with Residue of acid possibly have other then a battery that was not know to so Called Modern man man until the early 1600's?
