Hi xavier

Can simply use the POT rang 2k with a large W ,And used for a short period, a period setting and then remove it outside  the measured resistance, which gives the best results

best time

hi XAVIER instead of going threw all this i tell what i used for  the matshless and the clarck VLF detectors:
i used the screened cables from a used computer screen cable,it came with 3 screened cables, and i used the 15 D connector also from an old computer used as the serial comm. almost negligable resistance.

This is a PI detector not a VLF (No comparison) but I will keep that in mind

hi Xavier
to select resistance in parallel with the coil must be viewed pin 6 of the LF357. resistance to the largest possible or there're no oscillation (signal just cost)

olivier

pour choisir la résistance en parallèle avec la bobine, il faut visualisé broche 6 du LF357 .  prendre la résistance la plus grande possible ou il n'y as pas d’oscillation (signal juste amorti)

Hi kabierkabier

As far as know the wire in the monitor cable is twisted (this will not do) but I could be wrong.

o.mag

Thanks for the info I will have a look into it but I only have a PC scope (makes things harder).

All the best
Xavier
