I just sent a scathing email to my Damocrat Representative.  I think the entire congress should have been turned. November 2 was a good start.  I hope the rest can begin to understand the gravity of the message that was sent.  I have to deal with the likes of Al Franken.  I can't believe that clown was elected   There is strong suspicion that Acon, oops, I meant Acorn stole it for him.

Go Up Go Down

Here in the Eastern U.S. they are makeing it harder to dredge and gold pan. Every year they pass more restrictions. This year it has been banned altogether in many of the few remaining areas. At the same time I read some PDF documents where big multi-national corporations are quietly buying up all the mineral rights from the states and private holders. Me suspects Corporate Feudalism is on the horizon. Corporations don't wan't us to have access to nothing, own nothing, or do anything they don't ok or can profit off of. Discovery channel showed how almost everyone in Great Britain lives in well planned out towns, use public transport for the most part, and only the super rich get to have country get away cottages or live outside compact towns or citys at all. They were talking about how great it would be if we learned to do the same. Real reason behind the houseing market crash perhaps? By the way, here in the east, local governments are the bigger culprits especially in Georgia. Feds are beginning to think about kicking even panners out of our National Forests though. I think the elites don't like us even hikeing in or visiting in our National Parks anymore.

Alot more in the works comming up soon.

In Arizona there is a land grab by the state that could shut down a pile of open areas.  Sad, Sad.

Other Junk is in the Works as well.

They keep it up and the US will soon be in a Revolt like the mid east countries are doing also.

There are ways to prospect without drilling a hole. You don't have to dig it to make money with it. As for panning and dry washing, there is mining company's that allow you to do so in places you would never be able otherwise. To own a mine is a big responsibility, I don't see any of them on here complaining. There is a lot of claim owners who have had to fill in holes as our world gets smaller.

What would John Wayne do? That is pretty much how I feel about it. But we are our own worst enemy.
