Hey Gramps, it sounds like you just read off my medical chart!!  I agree, Searching, it is primarily your attitude how old you actually are!  My mother was an old woman when she was 30.   I'm still younger today than she was at 30.  But Gramps is right, eventually there are some physical things that change in your body and you just can't avoid the results of them!  But even then your attitude keeps you younger and active to the level you want to be in most cases!            Detecting

Well if you're a retired/disabled GI you go to the VA and they say sure thing dude BUT you're going to have to lose some weight.  Now losing weight not only eating properly but also getting exercise like walking, jumping jacks, deep knee bends and so on.  The big bug-a-boo is that you need good knees to get that exercise, bummer.

The only suggestion for you Home fire is don't drink so much grog and Gramps swimming is a good exercise and doesn't heart your joints.

LOL!,   Reminds me of the crap I had to do to get my shoulder corrected while in the USAF!

9 trips from Athens Greece to Germany and I think they just got tired of seeing me and did it.  LOL

Sounds like stallers and excuse makers to me!    Grin Grin Grin  Seriously, I've never really had a weight problem.   Most I've ever weight was 178 and I was 5' 91/2" tall at the time, in my mid-20's.  Most of my medical problems seems to be related to Agent Orange exposure  (according to the VA).  I do need to get out and be more active on a daily basis, than I am now.  I recognize that and am working on it.  I've never been in-active, but I'm not a highly motivated active person eithr.

Weather here is not helping either...  blustery, rainy/snowy and cold!

And Searching, thanks for you concern!                                             Detecting

I don't drink Grog!    I drink Barley Soup!

Full of Vitamins it is.

Did you know a pint of Guinness has more vitamins and minerals in it then say Whole Milk?
