| Hi Tabdog,
Your find got me digging a little. The letters on that relic, RLW, must lead to something. This is what I got:
""""From Wikipedia,
""Richmond Locomotive Works was a steam locomotive manufacturing firm of the 19th century, located in Richmond, Virginia. In 1901, Richmond and seven other manufacturing companies merged to form American Locomotive Company (ALCO). Locomotive production ceased in September 1927.""
That relic may be the boiler name plate itself.
Any use to you?
Please do not forget the pics

Thanks fer doin that,
It may take a little while before I
can get back out there.
But, tha letters are actually "LRW"
That stands for "Little Rock Water".
That was the name of tha utility at
that time. It has been under several
different names, but in 1889 it was
called Little Rock Water.
I have a copy of an old map with tha
information on it about when tha pump
was intalled and tha model of tha pump
and more info about LR utilities.
Thanks fer yur input,
Tabdog
