wikipedia saysReligion is derived from the Latin religiō, the ultimate origins of which are obscure. One possibility is derivation from a reduplicated *le-ligare, an interpretation traced to Cicero connecting lego "read", i.e. re (again) + lego in the sense of "choose", "go over again" or "consider carefully". Modern scholars such as Tom Harpur and Joseph Campbell favor the derivation from ligare "bind, connect", probably from a prefixed re-ligare, i.e. re (again) + ligare or "to reconnect," which was made prominent by St. Augustine, following the interpretation of Lactantius.[3][4] However, the French scholar Daniel Dubuisson notes that relying on this etymology "tends to minimize or cancel out the role of history"; he notes that Augustine gave a lengthy definition of religio that sets it quite apart from the modern word "religion".[5],

after all it is you who will follow the doctrines.if we want to live by not attending church on sunday then go for it. if you want to pray six times a day then go for it...now my question is WHO IS YOUR GOD that you are worshiping or praying?Is this the GOD of JACOB,ABRAHAM in the bible?or is this the GOD of Christ in the bible?because doing religion is binding back to GOD in the bible.We have plenty of gods now a days...correct me if i am wrong.i would then my friends will ask you to please examine your GOD

All of creation testifies that God exists. There is no need for anyone to prove that HE is real, for it is quite clear. The real challenge is for anyone to prove that He does NOT exist. A person may say they do not believe in gravity and they may climb on top of the roof of their house and say "I don't in gravity" but the split second they jump off that rook they will become fully convinced that gravity does indeed exist.

Your choice of words at the end of your post I find most interesting. In the above statements you say you do not believe in God and dare anyone to prove that He exist, yet in your closing you say "thank you very much. God Bless" Why would you say God bless you when you say he does not exist just one sentence previous, unless that is of course that you really do believe in Him.

I have heard people who claim to be atheist say "Oh my God" in a statement. They just admited that He exist by that statement alone. I have never heard someone blurt out " Oh my Mickey Mouse" before. Why? Because everyone knows that Mickey Mouse is a fictional character. He's not real. The reason people do not want to admit that God is real is simple. If they admit that God is real, then they have to deal with the sin issue in their life, because by admitting there is a God that means you are now accountable for your actions. Just because I don't admit something is true doesn't change anything, just like gravity it's there even if I pretend it isn't.

Yes Bobby that is what freedom of choice is. So pick wisely. We just celebrated Easter. Jesus was the only one to prove He had power over death and the grave. God loves us so much that He let His only begotten Son die so that we might live and if we accept this free gift we will not suffer the consequences of judgment and hell. No ,  I Do not have his address,  But It feels good to tell him my problems.

After talking to him, I feel better.

I Don't have any need for man to Interpet what God has told me.

When on the Farm, How do you not see him?
