I am a christian. I do go to church. I do believe in our lord Jesus. I do believe in miracles and in sacred places on earth. I don't think you have to go to church to believe in Jesus or go to heaven. I do believe that some church leaders and churches misinterpret the bible.  I also believe as quoted from Angels and Demons "My church shelters the homeless and feeds the hungry. What does yours do? ........Nothing. " HH

I personally do not believe in santa, bunny rabbits, eggs, or any other stuff that came from heathen practices that were incorperated into the roman catholic church. As for christian people causing most of the wars is not accurate historically, most of the assaults that were perpetrated upon christians and others was by the hand of the roman church and the popes of rome. This assault continued many years and it is believed that millions were killed. Fanatical muslims also did their share of killing as well. The most killing that I have read about were done by atheistic countries such as Russia under communism, you can add to that mix Hitler, Musolini, China, N Korea, N Vietnam and many such other communistic countries. This group alone has killed well over a hundred million people. You should also look at all the savage nations or peoples who killed there own for food
(canibals). Nearly twenty thousand people die on the highways of the US as a result of drunk drivers each year, I have had personal experience with these people over the years and none that I can remember claimed to know Christ as savior. How about the millions that are aborted each year for the sake of convenience, those heading to the abortion clinics are not for the most part followers of christ. To make a broad statement about religion being the perpetrator of all wars and not distinquishing whos who among the many true believers of christ and the so called followers of christ (false teachers) is not wise and shows a lack of actual study based on truth or true history.
Jesus said you can know them by what kind of fruit they bare. Mathew 7:15 Quote " Beware of false prophets, which outwardly come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit." Just because something says it's christian doesn't mean that is actually the case. Some further study on your part would help you see things more clearly. Also the church is not a building, the people who meet together are the church and not the bldg. ....have a good day.       John in Virginia
