Hello Luc, thanks for the update.

I'm guessing any message to the DRAC now would recieve a standard "thanks for asking but no comment" reply.

The article itself is fairly damaging. It adresses the same concerns heard before and sadly unless the tomb is opened now for inspection it looks like just another stunt.

I do however take exception to the condescending attitude in the article. If you are going to slap someone around for being "uneducated" I'd advise getting a better proof reader than just spell checker.

This line is an epic fail:

There are no discrepancies in the footage of the interior of the tomb, [41] taken by Ben Hammott in several different occasions, such as difference in the dimensions of the cross suggestive of a mock up [42] [43]. Objects in the ?tomb? have been moved around over time even though there is only one small entrance and nobody has supposedly been in the cave.

No discrepancies eh?

I'm all for the truth and I never did like the secret can't tell anyone the location business. History belongs to everyone.
I try to give every story a fair chance but it sure ticks me off when someone pulls a stunt that damages the reputation of all us "noneducated" explorers and such an interesting location.

Hi Luc, and all the other interested people,
I think the only thing to do is disregard all information posted on this site about the tomb until such time the claim can be substantiated.
I am disappionted anyone would use this website with a scam to sell more books.
             Regards, Fredio No no!

Hi Luc, Idaho Jones, fredio

Well this is an interesting thread and I have read it from page one through to page four how ever I am missing something so if some one could tell me what it is or where it is I'd greatly appreciate it.

Best Regards Xavier

Hi Xavier,

This is a side post to the Rennes Le Chateau story involving the mysterious Abbot Sauniere (many posts about both in this section) who as legend has it hid treasure or something there. Ben Hammot claimed to have found clues left by Sauniere which led to the tomb in question on this thread. Evidence or lack of it is leading to the conclusion he hoaxed it all to sell books. Hope that helps.

I have not heard anything, from the early postings I thought it may be a scam and like all scams they can only go on for so long .
I do know another member, LUC.... he was very interested in this tomb and if he is reading this post he may have more information as he is in the same country, (France). Undecided

Hello all

Sorry, no good news but no bad news, I just have no news at all. I do think that there is a cavity near Rennes-le-Ch?teau containing a secret, but I also think with more distance Ben Hammott that  staged a hoax in order to increase sales of books. But nothing tells us that while not true, the start of this story is real anyway. Wise

All the best

Luc

We can only wait with abated breath, I personaly thik the old priest died pennyless , if he knew about the tomb he would not have had to struggle financialy the last few years of his life. Wise
