Hi the detector I use is the minelab Safari and love it
I also own a xterra 70 (not in the same street as the safari)
I use the xterra only in tot lots and playgrounds as the safari seems to be powerful
and picks up a lot of the equipment so you cant get to close to swings ect.
But on the beach the safari is outstanding .yes you do get some falseing but after a learning period
you can usually tell if it is falseing.I had some excellent finds the past 12 months since I have owned the safari
