Hi folks,
the bundle # 2899 contains information on ships that traveled from 1580 to 1626. For this reason can't be information from a ship which allegedly traveled in 1563. It should be in the bundle # 2898.
The Magdalena never wrecked.

Hello All

I am not in the position to comment of the alleged La Madeleine of legend.

But as ironic as it sounds There was a vessel called La Madeleine and it it did have treasure.

It was not a Spanish vessel but a French Brigantine wrecked in 1831 from Senegal to Bordeaux carrying specie. The vessel was carrying members of the colonial administration. The captain was a captain Broman.
