Go Up Go Down

Well I finally got out today & checked around the backyard!and of course I had company my other half! She started before me as I had to repair the tire on the car. by the time I got the air in the tire after waiting for my slowass air compressor, My GF had already made a few finds, 1 two inch tall bottle with a smooth top/ no threads to screw a lid on, 1 small alum type adjusting buckle that would be found on a strap of some sorts. and 1 hatchet head! not bad now for the strange and unusal, also while she was digging she found a encrusted
oyster shell that gives a signal when you run a MD over it!HMMMM strange indeed. And for the strangest yet! As I was digging in certain areas after the top soil is nothing but sandy type soil, and in many areas there are various ferious metal hits, Ill have to check these out later, any ideas on the ferious hits?
I'm a bit puzzled by these hits there is no reason for it. The funny thing is everytime one of the detectors went off one of my senior citizan neighbor was popping her head up and down like a wack-a-mole to see what we had found, LMAO. I'll put some pics up after I clean all the items up!
It felt good to get back into the game of thunting!!!!!! I feel that there is more that is in my yard! the yard just dosnt know its going to give me all it holds!!!( well anything that I consider treasure LOL...As Always Best Wishes,,,,Rob

Rob Congrats on getting out and thunting. Nothing better than being close to home and having all the conveniences,  Grin  Grin  Grin
I hunt my yard after a heavy rain and everytime I seem to find new treasures, would have thought by now I would have dug it all up,
but there is more and more after every rain, well anyways glad to hear u are getting out and enjoying the challenges of MD'ing again.

Can't wait to take a look at your finds. Sometimes I got ferrous signals in my backyard to deeply find old iron/metallic stuff like pieces of pipes, nails, door hinges, you name it. All kind of stuff, but old coins. My house is 89 yrs old. But I'm not done with it yet  Detecting

Hi Cyberborikua,
Im going to work on the pictures today at some point and get them up, I have found 2 other items as well, A bronze eagle aprox 2 ft in width with its wings spread ( it kinda looks like the federal eagle bronze, and I found this goofy looking rock, but on close examantion it looks like it could possibily be
fosil in a rock its quite big, when I finish with the pics maybe someone can tell me what the heck it is. even if its a rock Ive never seen one like this and I have seen alot of rocks!,,,Best Wishes,,,,Rob

apperantily There was an old burn pit that I had unearthed, and aprox one foot
north of the old pile is where I got the hit for the bronze, it was aprox 21 inches
underground. and the ground is a bit goofy its dirt over sand, and the recovered bronze was in a heavly sandy area! to me it a great find! hell I get happy over a penny! My motto is if if Beeps DIG IT lol......Best Wishes ,,,,Rob
